Wow, the anti-immigrant folks who protest outside of the macehualli day labor center better do some donating to charities or some shit to improve their image, because it's just one thing after another Not only do these folks call a neo-nazi one of their bravest patriots, and hang out with the notorious roy warden, one of their guys was cited for indecent exposure when he peed in a bottle near his vehicle. What wasn't adequately pointed out was that he is a big hypocrite because he is an illegal--an illegal urinater. I have friends who have peed illegally (although not doing it where others can see) and something it needs to be done illegally. However, my friends don't harass people for trying to survive in a way that's not quite legal (although the hiring that goes on at the day labor center is quite legal, but these protesters don't care). Actually, that shouldn't be in parentheses. They don't care that many of the people they are harassing are not undocumented, and they don't care that the manner in which everyone is being hired is legal that i am aware of.
I have said all along that these people are hypocrites. I once had a guy standing in the street yelling at me about the "invasion" and a cop told him to get out of the street, which he did and then got right back in the street. He nearly got arrested. Roy warden, who is apparently in phoenix at these protests has done all sorts of illegal things much worse than crossing a man-made boundary called the border (see this article). I also pointed out in an earlier post that it was funny that these people were protesting a day labor center when they had been protesting a boycott against a company that wanted a day labor center in the area so the folks wouldn't be outside the business.
Anyway, the feathered bastard noted that this guy buffalo rick has called mexicans monkeys- and i have heard other witnesses to this fact. Yet i imagine he'll still say he's not racist and so will those who associate with him.
